A very old heirloom, this variety was first developed in 1880 and gained in popularity in the early 1900s. It lives up to its name – this is the absolute BEST pickling cucumber on the market. Our family makes gallons of pickles every year and this is the number one variety we use. These cukes have also won numerous pickling contests.
